DESCRIPTION:
Still life drawing in colored pencil of a vintage “counter television” with blue, yellow, pink and orange zigzags displaying on the monitor
ARTIST’S NOTE:
This vintage-inspired drawing captures the essence of a bygone era with a retro mini-television set popular in the 1970s and 80s, when homes often had one perched on kitchen counters for watching while making breakfast and morning coffee. Getting the antennas aimed just right was crucial for good reception, otherwise you'd get a static-filled screen! The electric colors I used for this piece evoke that time for me, when television was a communal experience in American households.
Each print includes a 1-inch border around all sides of the artwork for easy framing.
All prints typically take 5-7 business days for domestic shipments within the United States, and 10-14 business days for international shipments.
Numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included with purchase.
Artist’s signature is visible on the front of the image.
